Come take care of the roses at Glen Foerd! Our historic rose garden is stewarded primarily by volunteers who need extra help getting the beds ready for winter.
Tasks may include weeding, loosening soil, applying compost, removing deadwood, and tying up roses. No gardening experience is necessary and tools will be provided, though if folks could bring their own gloves it would be helpful!
Navigation notes: The rose garden is located to your left upon entering the front gates of the park. If you traveled via car, please follow signs for public parking and walk back up the path to the rose garden. If taking Septa, Glen Foerd is a 10-minute walk from the Torresdale Station.
