Join us for a special Love Your Park celebration at Elmwood Park! While over 80 park friends group across Philadelphia are hosting volunteer cleanups in their neighborhoods, we'll host a special celebration and volunteer workday at Elmwood Park in Southwest Philadelphia. Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and Elmwood Park community members to plant trees, spruce up the garden beds, collect leaves for compost, and clean up trash and litter. All tools and materials, including gloves, will be provided. All participants are required to wear masks, which will also be available for anyone who needs one.

After the workday, Mayor Kenney and Elmwood Park community members will join us for a brief speaking program to commemorate the citywide service day and celebrate Philly's incredible parks and public spaces.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
