Tree Care Tuesday at Mander Rec

About

Join us for a cleanup at Mander Rec Center in East Fairmount Park! We're getting ready for the Boxers' Trail 5k Run & Walk on September 18, which starts and ends at Mander Rec Center. We'll work on cleaning up trash and litter, as well as mulching trees along Diamond Drive.

What to Wear & Bring
-Please wear closed-toe shoes
-Please bring a reusable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. (We will provide jugs of water so you can refill.)
-We recommend wearing long pants as this area is overgrown and there are some hazards.

Meet-Up Spot, Parking, Travel
-Meet at the picnic tables in front of Mander Recreation Center at 33rd St & Diamond Drive.
-Parking is available along 33rd Street as well as on Diamond Drive.
-Bus 32 runs along 33rd St, and several other buses stop at the 33rd & Dauphin loop.
-Please be extremely careful if biking or walking in this area - traffic patterns are a bit confusing and the bike lanes are not in good shape.
