Trash Grab Tuesday at Parkside Evans Trail

Join us for a cleanup in West Fairmount Park! The Parkside Evans Trail connects Parkside Evans Playground to Parkside Ave near 51st Street. The trail follows a tunnel under 52nd Street and also connects to the Crossbow Trail, which runs through George's Hill. We will clean up trash and litter, sweep and clear the walkways, and make sure this area is clean and green for pedestrians, cyclists, and other park users.

What to Wear & Bring
Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. We will provide jugs of water so you can refill.

Meet-Up Spot, Parking, Travel
-Meet at the trail entrance on Parkside Avenue, near W Columbia Ave.
-Parking is available along Parkside Avenue.
-Buses 40 and 52 stop at 52nd & Columbia as well as Jefferson & Lindenwood, which are 1-2 blocks away.
-There are bike lanes along Parkside Avenue. There are no official bike racks here, but we can find places to lock up your bike.

Other Details
-Please bring a mask (we will have extras available)
-We will provide gloves and all the necessary tools, but feel free to bring your own
-We will provide bug spray, sunblock, snacks, and jug of water
