Thanks to Robert Rabinowitz and Geoff Brock who have spent their weekends from May through July watering and weeding the Anniversary Trees on McMichael Street side of McMichael Park. Robert also offered his home as a water source running hoses across the street. Weekend aquatics for these two during summer 2020. FOMP is grateful. Thank you. Alexis Franklin
Thank you to the 33 volunteers who spent the morning of November 9th in McMichael Park. Much work was accomplished. Four trees were planted and mulched before 10am! Wow! All the daffodil bulbs and crocuses were also planted and 75 bags of organic debris were bagged. All bags were picked up by noon. Many low hanging and broken branches were also tended. Great to see the Brownie/Daisy troop #921 out there learning all about trees. Appreciate the donuts and coffee that you brought too. Nice to see everyone working together. Much appreciated. Alexis
Thank you for Volunteering!
Love Your Park McMichael will begin at 9am on Saturday/November 9th.  Our park recently had some turf improvement so we will being doing limited raking.  (mostly at the corners near our entrance signs)  We have plenty of brown bags for leaf and organic debris. These bags will be picked up on Saturday afternoon and should be left curbside.

We have four trees to plant. A dogwood, a red maple and two redbuds. The two redbuds are replacement trees.  We also have bulbs to plant both daffodil and crocuses.  We have black trash bags to pick up trash. Midvale Avenue get most of the trash. We will supply gloves.  Bring a shovel and broom and make sure your name is on them.
Dress warm as it may be a bit chilly.  Cider and cookies will be available for all who volunteer. We should be finished before noon.
Thank you.
Love Your Park!
Our McMichael Park is 90 years young this year. We have had so many activities from Pop-up-play to story time, movies, Shakespeare/Free Theater and just wrapped our Parks on Tap. 2020, our Friends of McMichael Park are celebrating 30 years! Looking ahead to another eventful year.
