Friends of Palumbo Park

Situated mid-block next to the Fleisher Art Memorial, Palumbo Park is a well-used neighborhood pocket park.

MISSION:

Friends of Palumbo Park group (FOPP) is a city-recognized Friends group through Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, which stewards the park located at 723 Catharine St.

The group is dedicated to protecting and preserving the park as a healthy and welcoming place that benefits current and future generations of residents and visitors. 

This work includes advocacy for park improvements, conducting clean-ups, planting, grant writing and fundraising, as well as producing educational, wellness, recreation, enrichment and community-building events.
