About

Help us care for young trees in Fairmount Park! These trees are the future of our urban forest, so we need to make sure they are free of invasive vines and have plenty of water and nutrients to survive and thrive.

No experience or special knowledge necessary - beginners welcome!

What to Wear & Bring

  • Long pants are strongly encouraged! Consider wearing long sleeves as well.
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes
  • Bring a reusable water bottle. We'll provide jugs of water so you can refill.
  • Please bring a mask (we will have extras available)
  • Consider wearing a hat and sunblock.
Meet-Up Spot, Parking, Travel
  • There is plenty of parking in the lot on Chamounix Drive across from the tennis courts.
  • There are no bike racks, but we can keep your bike with us to keep an eye on it.
  • Unfortunately this site is not easily accessible by public transportation. Buses 38 and 40 stop at Ford & Cranston, which is a half mile walk from the site.
