🌿🌷 Vernon Park is full of LOVE this spring! Join Friends of Vernon Park, neighbors and other park lovers in a collective effort to clean and mulch garden beds on Saturday, May 14 from 10am-1pm. We will be working in Vernon Park's rain, rose and fern/hosta gardens and at Chelten Greene with our friends Germantown United CDC. Fun for all ages. We can accomplish a lot together, all are welcome!
From 1pm-4pm on May 14, gather to remember those we have lost in a community healing circle facilitated by trained bereavement professionals. Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences bring an article of clothing, picture or other small memento to decorate a pennant flag installation that will be up for Love Your Park Week. Hello everyone! Due to the rainy weather forecast, we are postponing our morning Love Your Park cleanup for a date in early June (we will be in touch with details and date, hoping you can join us) and the 'Always Beside You' gathering will be held Saturday, May 21 from 1-4pm. Hello everyone and thank you for registering for Love Your Park Spring 2022! Due to Saturday's forecasted rain (all day!) we are rescheduling our 10am-1pm cleanup and the 1pm-4pm 'Always Beside You' community healing circle & panel to Saturday, May 14 (same times and other details).
