About

How do you turn a weed-invaded shoreline into a wildlife haven?  Volunteer to PULL and PLANT with the Friends of Penn Treaty Park.

On Saturday, May 14,(Rain date May 15) 10-12, we will provide the tools and instruction to work along the shoreline of the Delaware as we replace invasive species with native plants.

We will meet at the registration table to collect tools and instructions.  All ages and skills and knowledge levels are welcome.

If planting isn't your thing there is always lots to do to show your LOVE of Penn Treaty Park.  You can choose from a variety of park care options, from weeding, to sweeping, to trash clean up.  Whether you would like to pull invasive species in the sun for a few hours or walk through the park's shaded areas and clean up loose trash, we would love your help!

Equipment and gloves are provided - though you're welcome to bring your own.  Please note restrooms are not available at this location, and volunteers should bring plenty of water for themselves.

Service day will be canceled in the event of heavy rain, snow, or thunder. Remember to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.

We look forward to Loving Penn Treaty Park with you!
