About

The Friends of Penn Treaty Park are excited to invite you to help keep the park in top shape this summer.  On Sunday, September 19  from 10-12, we will provide the tools and you can choose from a variety of park care options, from weeding, to sweeping, to trash clean up.  Whether you would like to pull invasive species in the sun for a few hours or only have 15 minutes to walk along the park's shaded areas and clean up loose trash, we would love your help!

We will meet at the registration table near the waterfront, just south of the fishing platform.

All skill and knowledge levels are welcome.  Tools and training provided.

Equipment, masks, and gloves are provided - though you're welcome to bring your own.  Please note restrooms are not available at this location, and volunteers should bring plenty of water for themselves.

Service day will be canceled in the event of heavy rain, snow, or thunder. Remember to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.

Volunteers are required to:

·         Stay at least six feet from others.

·         Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands immediately after removing gloves.

·         Dispose of single-use gloves properly; wash reusable work gloves between uses.

·         Remember that facilities and public restrooms remain closed.
