7.4-acre site located across the street from Morris Park. This park has playground equipment, a basketball and hockey court, ballfields, and tennis courts. There is also a one-room multi-purpose building. The site is named in honor of Samuel Rose, a Pennsylvania state representative and Philadelphia councilman. He was raised in West Philadelphia and attended Overbrook High School. He died in 1960 at age 48.
